What are MB Coins?
MadeBig Coins are the currency of the MadeBig
Nation. They can be earned and spent throughout the entire site. The only module
where actual money is exchanged is the Shopping section.
How do I earn MB Coins?
MadeBig gives you ways to earn MB Coins just for reading MoneyBags'’ Mail e-mails and following the appropriate links. You can earn even more MB Coins if you decide to take advantage of an offer (please read each offer carefully, as the terms vary) that is sent via MoneyBags'’ Mail. To receive MB Coins for reading MoneyBags'’ Mail, simply following the instructions at the bottom of the email and your MB Coins will be credited to your account within 48 hours.
How soon after I'’ve joined can I start earning MB Coins?
You can start earning MB Coins right away. As a matter of fact, you earn MB Coins as soon as you complete your sign-up process. To learn all the ways you can earn MB Coins, review the About MadeBig section of the site.
General Overview: Earning & Crediting MB Coins for Purchases
MB Coins are earned for purchases made from the merchants on the MadeBig website or the offers advertised in the MoneyBags'’ Mail. MadeBig awards MB Coins in two different formats:
Lump Sum MB Coins - MadeBig awards you with a lump sum of MB Coins for the specified transaction.
MB Coins-per-Dollar - MadeBig awards you with a specified MB Coin amount per dollar spent at that merchant.
In both MB Coin award formats, if there is a purchase price:
MB coins are awarded for that amount and not for any applicable sales tax, state or local tax, shipping, handling or any other additional charges.
Purchases of Gift Certificates or Gift Cards are not eligible for MB Coins from all merchants.
Any portion of a purchase paid by gift certificate/gift card, do not count toward MB Coin award.
Some offers have requirements and certain purchases may not be eligible for MB Coins. Please review offer details carefully.
Important information before you shop:
To receive MB Coins for your purchases you must complete your transaction through the links on the MadeBig website or the links contained in MoneyBags'’ Mail. Using the links from MadeBig allows our merchants to report your transactions and allows MadeBig to properly credit you with MB Coins.
Always use the same name and email address that is associated with your MadeBig account when you complete transactions with MadeBig merchants and offers.
Check your profile periodically to verify that your information is accurate (especially your email address) to ensure yourMB Coins are always credited properly.
You must add MadeBig to the "“Allow"” list of your pop-up blocker or disable your pop-up blocker before starting your transactions to ensure that you are properly credited with MB Coins. Pop-up blockers interfere with MadeBig'’s awarding process and may prevent your MB Coins from being awarded correctly to your account. MB Coins are awarded as soon as your transaction is confirmed by the merchant. Your MB Coins will be held in the "“MB Coins Earned but not Yet Applied To Account"” section of the Your Account for a specified amount of days. The timing of confirmation varies by each merchant because MadeBig may need to adjust your MB Coins for returned items, cancelled orders or transactions not completed.
How do I earn coins in the MarketPlace?
You can sell items to other members of the MadeBig nation for MB Coins. Posting items is free and Coins are transferred automatically when an item is purchased. You can also earn 100 Coins for each MarketPlace search you perform (with a limit of 1000 Coins per day).
How do I earn coins in Shopping?
Each time you make a purchase or sign up for a rebate or a free trial with one of the merchants listed in the Coupons & Deals, Hot Deals or Offers & Free Trials sections, you earn Coins. Please note that Coins are not rewarded for purchases from the Shop Now feature.
How do I earn coins in Local?
Share your feedback on Local businesses to watch your Coin balance grow. Each time you leave a rating or comment for users in your area, you earn Coins.
How do I earn coins in the BrainTrust?
Each time you answer a question you receive Coins, but you can also get Coins by voting on the best answer to a question. If your answer is selected as the Best Answer, you will receive a Coin bonus!
How do I earn coins in The Nation?
One of the best ways to earn Coins is to refer
friends to the MadeBig Nation. You can send them invitations or even place banners
on your web site to tell people about the MadeBig Nation. There are plenty of
ways to earn Coins in The Nation—create a profile, invite friends to join, publish
Vibes, receive “High-5s” from others on your Vibe—and watch your Coin balance
grow.
How do I spend MB Coins?
What can I do with the MB Coins I earn?
You can spend your MB Coins through the Spend MB Coins and the MoneyBags'’ GiveAways sections of the MadeBig website. Simply select the item you want to spend your MB Coins on and following the simple instructions.
Do I have to pay for the shipping and handling of my reward when I spend my MB Coins?
Not unless specifically noted when redeeming your MB Coins. You will be able to view the shipping charges if any on the page that lists the rewards, their respective MB Coin costs and terms of the redemption offer. In most cases, you will simply spend your MB Coins on the reward of your choice and leave the delivery to the merchant.
What Spend MB Coins options are available for International members?
There are some rewards in the Spend MB Coins
that are available to residents of Canada but all members including International
member may spend their MB Coins on the American Express Gift Cheques. Also,
all MadeBig members can enter their MB Coins into the AutoPlay Card drawings
in the MoneyBags'’ GiveAways section of the website.
When do MB Coins expire?
MadeBig reserves the right to disable or cancel
accounts and expire unredeemed MB Coins in accounts that are inactive for a
period of 12 consecutive months. "“Inactive"” is defined as lack of
any of the following: website visit, email response (click through), survey
completion, profile update or any MB Coin-earning or spending transaction.
Can I combine or transfer MB Coins with another MadeBig account?
No. MadeBig members are only allowed to have
one account and separate accounts cannot be merged. Every individual must have
their own account and MB Coins can not be combined between accounts.
I want to create another MadeBig account. Can I participate under more than
one user name?
No, only one account is allowed per person.
Levels
What do the levels mean?
Levels are a way of tracking how active you have been in The Nation. As you earn more and more MB Coins, your level will increase. As you reach higher levels, you will be able to perform more actions and earn more Coins throughout the site.
What do I need to do to reach a higher level?
The more MB Coins you accumulate, the higher your level will be. MadeBig will notify you via e-mail when you have reached the next level. You can earn Coins by completing certain actions throughout the MadeBig site, including: answering questions in BrainTrust, posting a Vibe, submitting reviews and many more!
What is The Nation?
The Nation is a place where users can come together
in one of the fastest growing social networks on the Internet. The possibilities
are endless as you create a “Zone” that is all your own. You can link friends’
Zones to yours, send messages, leave comments, publish blogs and write Vibes.
Is it free to join The Nation?
Absolutely free! In fact you get 1,000 Coins
for creating a profile and additional Coins for enhancing your profile and publishing
Vibes.
How do I invite other users to join my network?
If they don’t have profiles on The Nation, click
the “Refer a Friend” link in the main tool bar of the Nation section to send
e- mails inviting them into your network. When your referrals join, you will
receive a Coin bonus for referring them and they will receive a bonus for joining.
How do I join another user’s network?
Go to the user’s profile and click the “Add
a Friend” link. A message will be sent to the user to approve your addition
to their network. If other users want to add you to their networks, you will
receive their requests which you can choose to approve or deny.
How do I remove a user from my network?
If you no longer wish to have a user in your
network of friends, locate them in the friends section of your profile and click“Delete”
and they will be removed from your network of friends.
How do I get my Vibe featured?
Featured Vibes are selected based on the number
of visitors and the ratings that they receive from other users. So get writing
and spread the word about your Vibe.
How do Vibe ratings work?
Members of the Nation can rate the Vibes of
other members using a five-star system. You can rate a Vibe as awful, poor,
average, good or excellent. Rating Vibes will let the Vibe creator know what
you think about the content, layout, and research that makes up their Vibe.
After rating a Vibe, you can edit your rating by viewing the Vibe again and
clicking a different star rating. MadeBig.com Corporate will monitor the ratings
in order to avoid abuse of the rating system. If it is determined that a user
has abused the rating system, MadeBig may close the user'’s account and take
away all the accrued Coins.
Can I delete a rating?
No, you may change a rating that you have left,
but ratings cannot be deleted.
What is a Vibe?
A Vibe is your chance to share what you know.
Whether you’re an expert on fly fishing or a digital camera guru, this is the
place to sound off on the topics that interest you. Share your knowledge and
earn Coins when you publish a Vibe. The social network builds connections as
it builds a virtual encyclopedia of Vibes that can be referenced.
How do I create a Vibe?
To get started, go to your main page on The
Nation and click “My Vibes” to get to the main Vibe page. Then click on VibeBuilder
to choose a web address for your Vibe, choose the extra content you want to
add from other sources (like pictures, videos, and links to similar sites),
and write the content of your vibe.
Can I put whatever I want in my Vibe?
You can vibe about whatever interests you,
and chances are, there are other users who will be interested in what you have
to say! So tell us about fly fishing, your research on mp3 players, or how to
change a tire. Please do not post offensive content on MadeBig. If your vibe
violates this rule, it will be removed and your account may be terminated.Click

How many Vibes can I post?
As many as you want. The more Vibes you post,
the more Coins you’ll earn and the more information will be available to
members of the MadeBig Nation.
Why was my Vibe taken down?
MadeBig does not allow offensive or inappropriate
content to be posted. Vibes violating this rule will be removed and users who
post them may have their accounts terminated. For a list of prohibited content,

How do I rate a Vibe?
In the ratings area on the left of the screen,
click on the number of stars (out of 5) you think this Vibe deserves.
Someone on MadeBig is harassing or threatening me. What can I do about it?
If this person is in your network of friends,
removing them from your network cuts down on the ways they can contact you.
Please contact MadeBig if behavior persists and we will take immediate steps
to stop this activity.
Someone is pretending to be me - what can I do?
Contact MadeBig immediately and we will take
action to resolve the situation.
How do I report inappropriate content?
Contact MadeBig’s customer service department
and we can verify the violation, remove the content and contact the user.
What does the High-5 button do?
This is a fun way to tell someone that you like
their Vibe, their Zone, or their answer on BrainTrust—it’s a fun way to recognize
the efforts of other MadeBig users. Also, every time someone gives you a High-5,
you receive Coins!
BrainTrust is the place where you can ask and
answer questions on any topic you can think of. If you have ever tried entering
questions into search engines and are frustrated by results that do not even
answer your question, this is the place for you. BrainTrust does not generate
answers by scouring sites on the web; the answers come right from people like
you. Also, BrainTrust is great place to post information about your favorite
products, to check out other users’ recommendations or to see what other users
are asking.
BrainTrust Guidelines
How is the BrainTrust different from a message board or chat room?
BrainTrust is a place where you can post questions and answers and learn from each other’s experiences. Like a message board, your posts are visible to everyone who accesses the site, but unlike a message board, your questions and answers are organized into categories. You are also able to search these categories for different questions and answers. BrainTrust is similar to a chat room in that it helps to link users by way of online “conversations” but unlike a chat, these conversations do not take place in real time. You can post a question in BrainTrust and when a user answers it, you will be notified by an e-mail from MadeBig. You can also review the answers by opening your question.
Can I use BrainTrust to chat with other users?
No. BrainTrust is not intended to be a social site where users can chat with each other. If you are interested in doing this, you can log into the Nation and meet new people or correspond with people in your network. Any posting that requests personal information about users will be removed immediately.
What is the BrainTrust Forum?
It is a place where users can make suggestions
about the site or comment/report bugs to the BrainTrust team.
What is a Brainiac? How do I become one?
Brainiacs are users who consistently share their
knowledge and experiences with other users in BrainTrust. This honor is bestowed
on users who have received numerous MadeBig Best Answer votes and have achieved
a Level 7 or higher.
Asking Questions
How do I ask a question?
To ask a question in BrainTrust, you must be a registered user in the MadeBig Nation. You can post a question by selecting the “Ask Question” tab at the top of the BrainTrust homepage. Fill out the information on the entry form and click the “Submit” icon. You will then receive an e-mail notifying you that your question has been posted. You may also check your question in “My Q&A” to see if there are any answers.
Once I ask a question, can I edit or delete it?
You may edit or delete a question as long as it is still classified as “Open.” Questions are open for seven days and the user who posted it has not chosen a MadeBig Best Answer yet. To edit your question, log into BrainTrust and select the question you want to edit from your account. Make the changes that you want, save these changes and resubmit your question. Deleting a question follows the same process, just select the “Delete question” option when you open your question.
How many questions can I ask per day?
While we are building the BrainTrust base you will be able to ask as many questions as you would like per day; just remember it costs 500 MB Coins per question asked. However, once BrainTrust starts to grow we will impose a limit how many questions you may ask per day. Your question limit will be based on the current level you have achieved.
How will I know when my question has been answered?
You will receive an e-mail from MadeBig notifying you when a user has posted an answer to your question. As long as your question remains open you will be able to receive answers. You may also review the answers to your question under “My Q&A.”
After I choose the best answer, can I change my mind and choose a different answer?
No, once you have selected a MadeBig Best Answer the question becomes closed. However, you can post information about another answer that might have been helpful as well in the feedback form when you choose the best answer.
What if my question doesn’t get any answers?
If your question receives no answers before the expiration date, the default option will read “No Best Answer.” Don’t worry; this happens a lot in online forums. Sometimes people don’t understand the question or they just don’t see it before it closes. However, there are instances in which people will not answer a question because they feel it is rude or inappropriate. If your question falls under this definition or is reported, it will be removed from the site.
How many times can I extend the expiration date of a question?
Questions will remain open for seven days. After
a week the question will automatically close, but you can repost the question
if you did not receive replies or you are not satisfied that you have received
a Best Answer.
Answering Questions
How do I answer a question?
To answer a question in BrainTrust, you must be a registered user in the MadeBig Nation. You can only answer questions that are “Open” or “Undecided.” Browse questions by clicking on different categories or by selecting a specific user. Once you have selected the question you would like to answer, click on the title of the question to open it and click on the “Answer” icon. Type your answer in the box that is provided and click “Submit.”
Once I submit an answer, can I edit or delete it?
You may modify or withdraw an answer at any time. Simply log into BrainTrust and go to “My Answers” in your profile. Select the answer you wish to change, add or remove information, save the changes and repost the answer. To delete an answer, select the answer in question and choose the “Delete answer” option on the answer page.
How many questions can I answer per day?
During the beta phase, you can answer unlimited questions, but if you are reported for abuse of the site (i.e. violating any guidelines in BrainTrust, posting irrelevant answers just to earn Coins or posting offensive content), you will be subject to our disciplinary procedures. However, once BrainTrust in no longer in the Beta stage, we will be limiting the amount of questions you may answer per day. As you move up in levels, you will be able to answer more questions in a day.
Why can’t I answer a question?
There are three instances in which you could
not answer a question. First, you cannot answer your own question. It seems
self-explanatory, but people have tried it to earn some additional Coins. Second,
you cannot answer a question that is already closed. You may only post answers
to questions that are open or undecided. Finally, if you have reached your daily
limit (as determined by the level you are on) you cannot answer anymore questions
until the next business day.
How do I vote for a Best Answer?
You can vote on answers that are posted under
“Undecided” questions. Click on the question you want to vote on to open it.
Read all of the answers submitted and if you believe that one of the postings
is the best answer, click the “Best Answer” link that is associated with that
particular posting. If, you have read through all the answers and do not feel
that any of them deserve the award for best answer, select the “No Best Answer”
option at the bottom of the list. Each time you vote you will earn 25 MB Coins.
How many votes can I submit in a day?
As with posting questions and answers, you may
vote unlimited times in a day during the Beta phase of BrainTrust. Once the
site has become established you will be limited in the amount of votes you can
cast per day. This limit will be determined by your current level.
How many MB coins does it cost to ask a question?
It costs 500 MB Coins to ask a question in BrainTrust
How does the scoring system work and what are the points worth?
When you ask a question in BrainTrust 500 MB
Coins are automatically deducted from you account. You earn Coins by posting
answers and voting for the MadeBig Best Answer for different questions; each
answer you post will earn you 25 MB Coins and each vote you cast will add on
an additional 25 Coins. If an answer that you posted earns the distinction of
MadeBig Best Answer, you will receive 500 MB Coins.
How do I earn MB Coins for answering questions?
For every question that you answer you will
earn 25 MB Coins. If you answered is selected as the best answer (either by
the user who posted the question or if you are voted the best answer by members
of the Nation) you will be awarded 500 MB Coins.
MadeBig Local brings reviews and listings on
businesses in your area right to your fingertips. Log on to MadeBig Local and
with a few clicks you’ve found reviews from people just like you with advice
and feedback on the products and services you want.
What type of business listings do you offer and how much do they cost?
MadeBig offers two types of listings: Basic
and Premium. A Premium listing comes with all of the features that a Basic listing
but also includes features such as coupons featured in the MadeBig Shopping
section, a customer newsletter and a place for your listing on search engines
like Yahoo!, Google MSN. Please refer to the chart below for a complete comparison
of the Basic and Premium listings.
My business was automatically listed on MadeBig Local. How can I enhance my listing from here?
There are over 18 million businesses already
listed in our online database. If your business is already included, the next
step is to sign up for either a premium or basic listing. Please see the chart
above.
How often do I have to renew my business listing?
Listings are renewed yearly, but you can update
your listing at anytime.
How do I upgrade my business listing to a premium listing?
When you click on the option to edit your listing,
there is an option to upgrade to a premium plan. Follow that link to get the
most of out of your MadeBig Local listing.
How do I add/change coupons or specials on my premium listing?
Once you are logged into your account, click on the Coupons tab of your main listing page. From the vertical menu on the left hand side, choose “Create a Coupon” to add a coupon. To view and edit your coupons, click “Manage Coupons” from the vertical menu on the left hand side.
How long will it take for the changes to my business listing to go into effect?
Any changes you make to the content of your
listing will go into effect immediately. After registering for a premium listing,
it will take a few days to upgrade and get started adding to your listing.
How do I change my business contact information?
Once you are logged into your account, select
the Information tab and click the orange “Edit” button under the section you
would like to change.
How can I track clicks on my business listing or searches for my business?
In the very near future you will be able to
not only track how many users have clicked on your listing on MadeBig, but you
will be able to monitor your clicks on all major sites where your listing has
been optimized such as Google, Yahoo!, etc. through MadeBig.com. We will keep
you posted on when this feature will be available when you register for a business
listing.
What is The Shopping?
MadeBig’s Shopping portal does the work for
you by searching thousands of sites for the products you’re looking for at the
best prices available. Whether you’re looking for a new flat screen television
or the latest designer heels, this is the place to find exactly what you want
at the best price available. Check out the Coupons & Deals, What’s Hot and
Offers & Free Trials sections to find special discounts and earn Coins.
How do I let other users know about a great deal?
You can send messages to other users through
the Nation to let them know about the deals that you find.
How do I find sites that offer MB Coins?
In the Earn MB Coins area of MadeBig you will
be able to view and access all of the different MB Coins earning opportunities.
You can also earn MB Coins for visiting websites or talking advantage of offers
via MoneyBags'’ Mail.
How can I review my shopping history?
Go to “My Account” and click on the “My Shopping
History” to view the items that you’ve been looking at and the things that you’ve
purchased.
How do I complete a Merchant Review?
Merchant Reviews are submitted in the Offers
& Free Trials area of MadeBig Shopping. You can choose a rating for a
merchant by selecting from the following: avoid it, below average, average,
above average, excellent. You can also comment
on the merchant to give a more detailed review.
Tips for writing a good review:
Describe your experience using the product.
Explain why you bought the product (what your needs were, other options you considered, etc).
Tell what you like or dislike about the product.
Standards for writing reviews:
Write only about the given topic.
Be sure that all facts are accurate.
Do not plagiarize any part of your review.
Do not include offensive language or content.
Write clearly with accurate grammar, spelling, capitalization and punctuation.
Be thorough.
Use only accepted HTML tags ( <b>, <i>, <br>, <p> and <a href>).
Include links only in the body of a review. You cannot include <a href> tags in review titles, pros and cons, or other sections of a review.
Note: MadeBig.com will monitor the shopping
reviews to prevent any abuse of the reviews (including inappropriate content
and language). If a user is caught abusing the Merchant Reviews, MadeBig Corporate
may close the user'’s account and take away all the accrued Coins.
Why do some merchants offer MB Coins and others don’t?
MB Coins are not awarded when a user is browsing
or shopping in the “Shop Now” area of the site. These are merchants whose site
our search engine found while searching for your item. MadeBig does not have
partnerships with these merchants. If you want to earn Coins from your purchases,

What is the MarketPlace?
The MarketPlace is where users can buy and sell
goods. Users in the Nation can visit the site to browse, buy or sell their goods.
There is no cost to post in the MarketPlace and no actual money is exchanged.
Users purchase items with their MB Coins; no cash, credit or debit cards are
required.
How do I buy stuff?
How do I buy an item?
Buying items in the MarketPlace is simple. You can begin by searching for a specific item or you can just browse the different categories until you see something you like. Once you have found something that strikes your fancy, click on the title of the item. Review the information about the item, including how many MB Coins it will cost you, and select the “Purchase Item” icon. Fill out your shipping information and click “Confirm.” MB Coins will then automatically be deducted from your account.
I ordered something that I no longer want. Can I cancel my order?
No, you may not cancel an order. Once you complete a purchase in the MarketPlace it is considered a contract and is binding as such. After you verify your order the MB Coins are automatically deducted from your account and are non-refundable.
How will my order be confirmed?
You will receive an e-mail from MadeBig when you have verified your information after you purchased an item in the MarketPlace. The seller will also receive an e-mail notifying them that you have bought their item.
How long should I wait for a seller to contact me? How do I contact a seller?
When you purchase an item the seller will receive an e-mail notifying them of the purchase that same day and they are told to contact you. If you do not hear from the seller within three days after you have purchased an item, try to contact the seller directly. If the seller does not respond to you, notify Customer service.
There are three ways that you can contact a seller. You can click on the “Ask seller a question” link in the item’s listing. You may also click on the “Ask seller a question” link in the “My Purchased Items” section of your user profile. The other option for asking a seller a question is to go into the seller’s profile and select the “Ask a question” link. If you choose to use this feature make sure that you reference the item you are asking a question about in case the seller has multiple items posted in the MarketPlace.
How can I protect myself from fraud? How do I spot a scam?
MadeBig strives to protect the best interests of our members, so we want you to be aware of the following red flags for fraudulent activity:
A seller is requesting payment in a currency other than MB Coins.
A seller requires the buyer to contact them via e-mail or telephone before purchasing an item.
A seller requires that the buyer complete the transaction using a third party (i.e. a Pay Pal site) outside the confines of the MarketPlace.
A seller has an excessive amount of negative ratings or has only received negative ratings. You can read a seller’s ratings and comments from users who have worked with a seller on the seller’s profile page.
The seller provides no information or photographs on his or her user profile or homepage.
A seller does not reside in the United States.
If it looks too good to be true, it probably is.
Contact the seller if you have questions about a listing; if you think something is suspicious, do not complete the transaction.
A seller contacts you in an e-mail and tries to sell you the same item or something similar for a cash amount. If this happens, report the user to MadeBig immediately.
If you spot two or more of these flags when you are checking out a posting, you should not purchase the item. Always exercise caution when working with users who are not in your social network.
What is RSS?
RSS is an acronym for Really Simple Syndication.
It is a type of file format for web content that was originally used for news
feeds, although it has branched out into other online content as well. Basically
it is a way to get updates from web sites without having to actually check the
site. For instance, online news sites offer RSS feeds that you can add to your
own web site or page. You can copy the code for the RSS feed and paste it into
the code for your site and a banner or text box will appear with the latest
updates from the news site. The RSS feed automatically updates (depending on
the site, you can program it to update at different times, whether it be every
6 hours or every week) on your site without you having to do anything. So you
can get the latest information without having to leave your own site. RSS is
no longer limited to just news sites, you can get RSS feeds from entertainment
sites like ivillage.com or wikipedia.com.
Do I have to pay for the shipping and handling of my purchase when I spend my
MB Coins?

How do I sell an item?
To sell an item either click on the “Sell Item” icon on the MarketPlace homepage or select “Add Item” from your user profile. Fill out the sell form as completely as possible and add a picture to enhance your posting. Review your information and then click on the “Post Item” button to add your item to the MarketPlace. Be sure to only list items that you would be willing to buy such as items you love but no longer need or want.
What fees does MadeBig charge to sell?
MadeBig never charges fees for you to sell items in the MarketPlace. It is free to post items; the only cost to you is shipping to the buyer after the purchase is made.
How do I edit my listing after it is posted?
To edit your listing after you have posted it, log into MadeBig and go to your profile in the MarketPlace. Click “My Items” and find the listing that you want to edit and click on the title of that item. Select the “Edit” button on the item information page and make any changes you would like. Save the changes and resubmit your posting.
How do I cancel a listing after it is posted?
You can only cancel a listing if it has not been purchased. To cancel an item, log into your profile and select the item in question. Click the “Delete” button on the item information page.
How can my item become featured on the homepage?
The marketing team at MadeBig randomly selects items for placement on the homepage. Items will be checked routinely and great bargains will be selected for the Bargain Corner and unique listings will be featured in the MB Spotlight. Items that fall into the top searches are also selected to be featured on the homepage. To increase the chances of having your item featured, make sure your description is thorough and that your presentation is well done.
How do I contact a buyer?
You can contact a buyer in one of two ways. First you can log into your profile and go into the “My Sold Items” section and click “Contact Buyer” from the Choose Action drop down menu. Or you can go directly to the buyer’s homepage and select the “Ask a question” link.
Seller Tips
Post complete and accurate information about the item.
Include a clear picture.
Keep your price reasonable.
Answer questions about your posting promptly.
Monitor your item; if no one is showing interest it’s possible that you may need to lower your asking price.
Be patient. You will need to build credibility
and earn high ratings before your listings will sell quickly.
Why was my listing taken down?
MadeBig does not support the posting of offensive
or harmful material. If your item was reported to us by another user, we will
notify you to remind you of our policies, but if you do not adhere to the site’s
rules, we will remove your listing.
How do I report a listing?
To report a listing, click the “Report This
Listing” link on the item page. You can also report a listing by contacting
Customer service.
Why can’t I upload an image?
Images must be a .JPG or .JPEG file and cannot
exceed 200 KB. Try resizing your file or changing the file format. Also, users
are limited to one picture per posting, so trying to upload multiple images
will not work.

Referral Program
Another easy way to earn MB Coins is to refer people to the MadeBig Nation. You can refer friends one of two ways: Refer-A-Friend E-mail or through banners, buttons and links.
The Refer-A-Friend E-mail can be found in the Referral Center on the MadeBig homepage. MadeBig has already created an e-mail for you, but you can add personal messages to any e-mails you send. You can send e-mails to 10 friends per day and you may track the status of your referrals from the MadeBig homepage. Click on the “Refer-A-Friend” tab and select the "“Check the Status of your Referrals"” button. Here you are given the e-mail address you sent the Refer-A-Friend e-mail to, the date you sent the e-mail and if they viewed the web site, if they signed up and the date they signed up. Once your friends join the MadeBig Nation, their user information (including username, city, state and country) will be available for you to view in the “My Referrals” section of your profile.
You can also refer people by placing banners, buttons or links on your own web site or personal blog. Information about how to add banners, buttons or links can be found in the Referral Center on the MadeBig homepage.
You earn MB Coins for every referral you generated who joins the MadeBig Nation. For each person that registers as a member of the MadeBig Nation through a referral from you, you will earn 1,000 MB Coins. This is a one-time bonus that you earn for each referral. Please note that it will take seven days for the Coins you earn to appear in your account.
